Kate joined the Ethos team in 2010, bringing her special brand of quality orthodontic care to both adults and children. She is passionate about creating beautiful smiles in such a happy and relaxed environment. Kate loves talking to her patients and getting to know their stories as well as keeping up to date with the latest technologies in the field.
After graduating from UQ with first class honours, Kate spent seven years in general dentistry, while also lecturing to dental undergraduates at the University of Queensland. Her interest in orthodontic techniques developed during a three-year period as a Senior House Officer in Maxillofacial Surgery in Liverpool. Her experiences working with emergency injuries and treating conditions like oral cancer motivated Kate to develop her skills to make even more of a difference in her patients’ lives.
Like others on the Ethos team, Kate also has a passion for sport, including surfing, windsurfing, yoga, and touch football. In fact, if Kate wasn’t an orthodontist she would love to be a professional windsurfer, having competed in both Australian and international competitions.
Kate loves the fun, dynamic working environment of Ethos and feels so grateful for her wonderful team she gets to engage with daily.
