Flexible Payment Options
We want your treatment to be as easy and convenient as possible, so flexible payment options are all part of the service. With ethos, you can get the treatment you need, the smile you want and a payment schedule that suits you – including ethos lite treatments.
All our costs are fully itemised, and include regular check ups for five years after the treatment is complete. Once we have quoted you an all-inclusive cost, you can be sure there won’t be any unexpected extras.
flexible and interest-free payment options
If you decide to pay upfront you can choose to pay by cash, cheque, credit card, BPAY or Eftpos and we’ll happily discount your treatment.
If you’re looking to spread the cost, consider our flexible payment plans that offer monthly, fortnightly or weekly interest-free instalments via Denticare Payment Solutions. Just tell us what works best for you.
health fund benefits
You may be eligible to claim back some of your treatment costs through your health fund. It all depends on your plan and provider. So check to see if you’re covered for orthodontic services – and how much for.
It’s important to talk to your health fund provider before you proceed. Most funds don’t cover you in the first year of membership, so don’t wait until after you have decided on orthodontic services to join a fund.
If your medical fees rise above a certain threshold in a year, you may be able to claim back some of these costs as a rebate from the Australian Tax Office. This is called the “Medical Expense Tax Rebate”.
Orthodontists’ fees are counted as medical fees for the purposes of this rebate, which is calculated when you do your income tax return.
To find out more about the rebate, and the current threshold, contact your accountant or the Australian Taxation Office.
give a smile program
If you cannot afford orthodontic treatment, you may be eligible for the Give a Smile program. This is a scheme that is run by the Australian Society of Orthodontists to provide treatment for both adults and children on a pro-bono basis. On average, ethos orthodontics carry out one pro-bono case a year through Give a Smile. For more details, or to join the waiting list, visit the Give a Smile website.
